PACED is a learning method powered by AI for children with ADHD. It helps them to learn with an appropriate, for them, way that treats the lack of attention. Attention deficits disturbs lerarning and leaves children with a sense of failure that might affect their whole life. PACED is supported by scientific publications and we have been conducting research for over 15 years on the use of artificial intelligence in the study of children with ADHD. With the development of AI and the ability to be used by everyone, PACED is ready to be used by experts around the world.. The method is to be used by special educators, psychologists, teachers. The method can be used by teens themselves but again a specialist has to teach them how to use the method. It is developed in NOUS, the institute of digital learning and communication.

Το PACED είναι μια μέθοδος μάθησης που υποστηρίζεται από Τεχνητή Νοημοσύνη για παιδιά με ΔΕΠΥ. Τα βοηθά μαθαίνουν με έναν κατάλληλο, για αυτά, τρόπο που αντιμετωπίζει την έλλειψη προσοχής. Η έλλειψη προσοχής διαταράσσει τη μάθηση και αφήνει στα παιδιά ένα αίσθημα αποτυχίας που μπορεί να επηρεάσει ολόκληρη τη ζωή τους. Το PACED υποστηρίζεται από επιστημονικές δημοσιεύσεις και υλοποιούμε έρευνα πάνω από 15 χρόνια στην χρήση της τεχνητής νοημοσύνης στην μελέτη παιδιών με ΔΕΠΥ. Με την εξέλιξη της ΤΝ και την δυνατότητα χρήσης από όλους, το PACED είναι έτοιμο να χρησιμοποιηθεί από ειδικούς σε όλο τον κόσμο. Η μέθοδος προορίζεται για χρήση από ειδικούς (ειδικούς παιδαγωγούς, ψυχολόγους, εκπαιδευτικούς) για την μελέτη των παιδιών με ΔΕΠΥ. Η μέθοδος μπορεί να χρησιμοποιηθεί και από τους ίδιους τους εφήβους, αλλά και πάλι ένας ειδικός πρέπει να τους διδάξει πώς να τη χρησιμοποιούν. Αναπτύχθηκε στο NOUS, το ινστιτούτο ψηφιακής μάθησης και επικοινωνίας.

Assistive technology refers to any device, software program, or tool that could help a child in the educational process. It can boost children’s skills and confidence if they have difficulty with reading, writing, or math, or have self-management problems. Chidlren with ADHD face problems to:

  • organize time
  • organize space
  • focus and maintain attention, for longer, on educational processes

Children with ADHD, often, have

  • low self-esteem,
  • low self-confidence,
  • limited self-regulation.

Often, children with ADHD have Oppositional Defiant Disorder – ODD. Τhis is though a seperate condition and it should not be associated only with ADHD.
